This In-PERSON TRAINING provides an overview of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), identifies risk factors, and describes ways to reduce the risk of SIDS in child care.

This TWO-part training will introduce participants to the document North Carolina Foundations for Early Learning and Development. Participants will use the book to learn about the standards, how they are structured, and how to implement them in early childhood settings. Participants will construct the knowledge base necessary to use the standards in supporting children in their learning and development by embedding the standards in daily classroom planning and practice.
