NC Foundations for Early Learning and Development

This training will introduce participants to the document North Carolina Foundations for Early Learning and Development. Participants will use the book to learn about the standards, how they are structured, and how to implement them in early childhood settings. Participants will construct the knowledge base necessary to use the standards in supporting children in their learning and development by embedding the standards in daily classroom planning and practice.
Emergency Preparedness and Response w/T.Quinn (In-Person)

This EPR in Child Care training for early educators. NC Child Care Rules require that all family child care home operators and one staff person per child care center complete the EPR training by July 2017. The session will last approximately two hours and covers planning and preparing for emergencies in early care and education settings. It includes an overview and an introduction to the online EPR Plan template and covers questions about the assignment, practicing, responding and recovery related to emergencies.
